Giving Up
Off in the distance
a child cries,
Tears of fear,
pain and constant lies.
Off in the distance
a child screams,
Panic sets in..
is it just a dream?
Off in the distance
curled in a ball,
A child rocks
from the pain of it all.
Off in the distance
you see the eyes,
Of a child who is broken
and wanting to die.
