Have A Good Night - Poem by Korir Isaacs

Now that the sky is golden yellow
As them aves swiftly find their nests
and herds leave the valleys for home
as the sun shuts its eyes
leaving at its sleep, dusk,
as people find their feet back
wary of the soon to be looming darkness
I stand amidst all the sequels
and before I shut the door closed
Lovely evening and a good night sleep
will I whisper to you.
