I Do By Dilantha Gunawardana Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

Your breath of impatience
And the pitch of your tone
Unbroken by silence
And relayed with a smile

Two words - of what I gained in soul -
Were lost to time......

And what was surrendered to time
Was preserved forever, in love.......
