I Dream Of You - Poem by Chris Tasie

I dream of you
And the coming days too
When two will be made one
And loneliness gone
I dream of a well-character queen
Who'll make us a set of twin
In times of ups and downs
Who conforts with kisses and dance

I dream of the flecks of gold
When your angelic lids unfold
Small white stones that glow
Whenever the dazzling lips allow
A rolling gait so great
Figure, like that of eight
All accrued to a proposed date
Who'd put me on wait

I dream of you; just you
Yet, I know not you
Maybe the girl next door
Maybe a reluctant public whore
I am in love in thought
Call it a crazy blind gut
All I know; I dream of you;
Of you and only you

This poem is nothing short of good. Gently written but very weighty. Thumbs up Chris (Report) Reply
