Mama's Teaching Poem by Chris Tasie

Mama's Teaching

Mama teaches
Like bird, it flies
With my infant sharp eyes
I looked but find none in the skies
Everyday she cries ''time flies''
Like there is no tomorrow, it flies
Though friendly and nice
Melts away like the ice
Even the ''baby yesterday'' I knew
I played with joked with and blew
Just a wink or two
Wings it grew and flew
At the fall of the dew
Gone! So it's true
It's flown far far away
Like the a prey
Leaving an offsspring called ''today''
Now I'll be wise
Every of its grain and every of its slice
I wont throw like dice
But build fortress otherwise
For time flies
Like bird, it flies
But never found in the skies
