Judas - Poem by Justin Schaefer

Take your thirty pieces of silver,
Judas; betrayer
Use them to buy
a conscience.
I am through with you.
You kissed my cheek
in a last act of hypocrisy.

Take your thirty pieces of silver,
Janus; faker
Use them to buy
a soul
You no longer exist for me.
You wiped my tears
But whispered behind my back.

Take your thirty pieces of silver,
Narcissus; egotist
Use them to buy
a heart.
You are nothing.
You pierced my soul
with the sword meant for Ameinias.
