Land of Dreams

Far...far away in the land of dreams,
two beings were becoming one.
One mind; one body; one soul.
As I take your hand ahold,
I look into your eyes and know that you could never be cold.

Far...far away in the land of dreams,
I see you standing there,
the look in your eyes makes me weak in the knees.
I see you standing there,
and know that this is what love means.

Far...far away in the land of dreams,
You touch my face and I yearn for your embrace.
Everything slows down, the minutes drag on.
I look up at you and know this feeling could never be wrong.
You look at me and say, 'Never let go'.

Far...far away in the land of dreams,
our lips touch and sparks fly.
A single tear falls from my eye, a tear of joy.
You wipe it away and kiss my forehead.
Letting me know how much you care.

Far...far away in the land of dreams,
you whisper my name and I whisper yours.
We fall into each other and we hold on tight.
You, never wanting to let go; me, exploring your body.
I touch you here, I touch you there; the suspense no longer needing to spare.

Far...far away in the land of dreams,
we unite; touching, feeling, wanting, needing.
Shivers, moans, lust, love, we've waited so long.
Passion, desire, you enter me, and my body shakes.
I lean into you and everything else fades away.

Far...far away in the land of dreams,
we move on each other in unison.
You go; I go, it feels so right.
Never wanting it to end.
As we become one under the moonlight.

Poem of the Day

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
