Melting Away - Poem by James Anderson

Today seems odd
Not like any other day though
Confused about the mess
Unable to see the test
Song writing like no other man could
When only working as hard just to be an average
You feel like to fall
You want to go under; away
You don’t want to see anymore of anything
Your crushes and dreams seem to go away
Laying there, flat on the floor
Fading away as time moves on
When you’re finally not there
And only wished for a second time
