Treasure Island

Timothy Brashear

Moment by Moment

As seconds become minutes
And minutes becomes hours
Moment by Moment
We should capture all the beautiful flowers
Moment by Moment

As a quick glance
Becomes a melting smile
Moment by Moment
We should hold fast for awhile + awhile
Moment by Moment

As a frog turns into a prince
And caterpillars turn into butterflies
Moment by Moment
We should secure all of our ties
Moment by Moment

As friends turn into lovers
And ‘like’ turns into ‘love’
Moment by Moment
Just float into the wind like a turtle dove
Moment by Moment

Look at right now
Imagine right tomorrow
Moment by Moment
Cling to Joy..Release any Sorrow
Moment by Moment

As the moment passes through time
And today becomes yesterday
Moment by Moment
Don’t lose the moment…Pray and Pray
Moment by Moment

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
