Morphed Illusions - Poem by Frederick Kesner

what are we to do
about shadows in the mirror
pray tell before they rise -

filling in memories
of film noir and poetry
dark or brooding
states of alienation

blaring piano forte
of shadowy symphonics:
inimitable contrivances.
