Music's Going To Save My Life

Music’s going to save my life stay tuned and you’ll see
Crank it up now nice and loud and party here with me
No need for substance or regrets just pass the microphone here
Without those things the song of life seems all so very clear
I took some powder i took some pills and now I’m in trouble
But that’s okay i’m breaking out of this haunted bubble
This life of mine’s one massive party that I love so much
Times they got a little foggy oh friend you are my crutch
But that’s okay it’s over now the party can go on tonight
Because here without the drugs in me it all feels so right

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Edward Housman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
