Once Upon a Time in Japan

Japan,
Perfected holding beauty
Mesmerized social duty
Still she fell to be less than booty

Japan,
The lost land of unseen light
And beautiful heat
Destined to fade in eternal defeat

Japan,
Was once a dream
Made into a home with a welcoming gleam
She's gone like ice on a springtime stream
