Poor Old Ted

Sitting on the side
Again tonight -
No taller than a child,
With eyes too wide
And a broad smile.

Sitting on the side
Again tonight -
Not pretty boy or
Muscle toy -
Just plain old Ted.

Sitting on the side
Again tonight -
No glances his way
Nothing much to say,
No life.

Sitting on the side
Again tonight -
Poor Ted, should be in
Bed
With his wife.

Sitting on the side
Again tonight -
The frog fairy waits
To find a date
To give him the kiss
Of Life.
