Rocks Seldom Squish The Cat Who Sleeps With One Eye Open - Poem by pantor of the Oaks

An avalanche takes the night
and rips it from my belly
a mummer of string pulls my heart
closer to the light
the paths we travel are infinitely
unbound by limitations
each path holds all the keys
to unlock hidden challenges
When one recognizes
that choices are always obtainable
rocks seldom squish the cat
who sleeps with one eye open
