Sadly

Wind is blowing, breeze is gaining strength
Just want to feel the strength of the wind for a while
Really want to just be in love with someone right now
Sadly, I have nobody to love me
Really nobody I have
Everyone is just against me and hates me so much
My intent nobody actually understands
How should I put the feelings of my heart in words
Nobody, I have sadly.

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

Only in sleep I see their faces,
Children I played with when I was a child,
Louise comes back with her brown hair braided,
Annie with ringlets warm and wild.
