Smile and Fake it

Smile hold it
just a little longer
they will never see
the pain inside me

smile for them
make them go away
let them believe
everything is ok

smile and just fake it
cuz i know they cant take it
the pain they would never
understand

be the actress
play ur part
u see the words
they never speak

inside im to deep
they could never
get me
so ill smile
and fake it

whatever makes them happy
they can never know
how messed up i am
on the inside

they can sleep
at night and
breath in the day

all because
i smile and
fake it

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
