Snowy Nights In Alaska - Poem by Brittani Shoetower

It falls from the sky,
white like a cloud,
in a group,
just like sea-gulls:

It's very small,
and cold like ice,
sometimes bunched,
like cereal:

It's falls in Alaska,
and sometimes Virginia,
if lucky maybe Oregon,
but keep your hopes down,
and don't make a frown,
'cause look, it's falling again:

What, what is it?
Well it's snow of-course,
what else would fall so small and often,
in just this, Alaska.
