Daydreaming Poem by Eli Spivakovsky

Daydreaming

I drift in snowy dreams
towards snow itself
It remembers the formula
* * * snow-flake... give or take +_ the calculation of gold in the human body - hexagon geometry equalateral to atoms of peace * * *
the atoms glow - pulse to pulsating - the taste on your tongue
spying on snow
guiding it
day-terrors again
it melts in my hand
so it's been more than half my life to be in the snow
the Russians have a word for that
'lonely'
the snow is His bliss
the snow is his beatitude
it keeps me company
I ask the Rabbi if there is a blessing for it
He looks it up in the library
so it's not a stupid question
He finds the right place
A book of poems
how pretty is the snow-poem
How pretty is the snow-poem
How dripping is the snow-poe,
How drifting is the snow-poem
How lifting is the snow-poe,
Come on, lift it up
trick your mind you're happy
a smile bought from a blessing
inhaled, I re-organise the formula into a
benediction
felicitation
celebration
It zooms from your balcony
past the equator
flying
where it turns into
Summer-dew
Day-dream calm
