Soulless spirits

Now I look down at this path
I look above at where you are situated
I notice my patience and my pace
And the hope entrusted unto me and my peace

Note all the reasons that make me fumble
Maybe it is the treasure I long to find
The simple view of my belonging
The level of my understanding
As well as the light of my life

For as long as I shall know
The spirits of my night
The meetings of my goals
It seems that this would make sense after all

The storyline is not the portion you pour on my head
It is the dynamite version of hate
That terminates love itself
Get away you thing
Go after all
