The Darkness

It's the darkness that's near
It stares, it sits
It takes all that is dear
It just never quits

The darkness is coming
It will choose to stay
Without even one warning
It destroys all of day

The darkness is here
The fight has begun
We warned it was near
Say goodbye to your sun

The darkness has come
It just doesn't rest
Destroying the sun
And all I detest

I am the darkness
A reason to fear
I am the darkness
Be ready, I'm near
