The Effects of Broken Dreams

It seems
I have another broken dream
To take place of the old
Trying to make me cold
I'll add it to the list
Of just another silly wish
But a person does dream
No matter how silly they seem
Yet this one I just can't let go
This one will come true this I know
Yet than why do my dreams and heart shatter
My teeth they chatter
I use to have a heart of pure gold
Now it's gone cold
All these broken dreams make me sick
The only way to get better is my broken dreams be fix
Yet it's to late for me to be saved
All because my dreams were depraved

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
