Mandolyn ...

the heat is on

the sun is over 90
when will it die?
it lives to be 105

never sick, no heart murmurs-

that ball of fire
will always be
flicking it's UV rays at me

but that is not what this poem is about...

silly me,
getting off-track...

i want to peel back your heart
and stuff myself
so far into your pulmonary trunk
you'll think your drunk
or i am-
