Loo Lindsey

The Hunter - Poem by Loo Lindsey

The little animals
in the forest do play
While the hunter sets
his traps today

The animals innocent,
they know no sin
While the hunter waits
not hiding his grin

This hunter you see
doesn't hunt for food
He does it for sport
and thinks it's all good

His ego tells him
that he's superior
That these creatures he kills
are inferior

What a small minded
little man is he
Needing that thrill
of killing what's free.
