Tragic History

How can I say I still love you
When you betrayed me?
Say I still miss you
When you delayed me?

You held me back
From true happiness
And pulled me into
This crappy mess

You lied through your teeth
Fed me a false story
So I fell into your trap
And made tragic history

What mystic fruit his acres yield
At midnight and at morn?

In the long sunny afternoon,
