Sadia Arman (May 28,1973 / Dhaka)
With a Peace
On the last day
When all souls
Are called
By God
To account,
I
Shall be called
By the Vagabond Spirit
For mine.
With a peace...
With a peace...
With a peace...
The hills shall be filled
With a peace.
The sun shall go down
With a peace.
And my heart shall burst
With the joy of life
To smithereens.
And the drops of blood
Shall fly
Into
The night-time sky
Then dance
In a brilliant display
Of sparks
For all men
To see
Then fall
Falling down
Into
The new Earth.
Then from each one
A new
Magnificence
Shall grow.
