The Things I Am

I am a feeling,
If you have me you live in peace with people.
I give people a yearning,
Keeping one wishing for a couple.

I am an irresistible desire,
If you have me it is hard to let go.
I will keep your heart on fire,
And remain stuck in it like a logo.

I am a feeling that you can boast about,
Pray that you get me at the right time.
I will heal your heart like lime,
and keep you happy if you hold on to me taut.

I make people cry,
Wish that i don't fizzle out.
If you lose me you are left in a rout,
I will make your heart fry.

I am like a witch,
On people's hearts i cast a spell.
I make some people unwell,
giving theirbhearts an itch.

I am a hearts' lotion,
Use me well and you will never be lovelorn.
Misuse me and always remain alone,
Discard me and your heart stays out of motion.

I am like a journey,
But takes two souls to make.
I am sweeter than honey,
Giving myself for you to take.
