Years hustled by? an emotion asked
Subdued desires, surrendered might
Life is a refrain and it's my plight!

Seize the moment before it's gone,
Time flies at a tremendous speed...
It is not always wise to be patient with your dreams!
All along, paths diverge and emotions mutate,

How about moving round
around and coming back to naught?
That is what happens when
you try to leap a decade.

I am like a restless wave
which swells before it realizes
and ebbs before it knows.
I know my bounds

I wish to own that moment in
the tumultuous ocean of memories...
A moment of grace when your glimpse

Is the first beginning
always the most fresh one?
Or is there a certain novel

Kabhi chahat khule aasman ki,
Kabhi Khwahish ek pyare se jahaan ki.

Subsisting in you, I got dissolved
Lived your life, still never resolved!
Disdained esteem - a rave review?
My duplicity-scarred soul...
ALL THE THANKS TO YOU!
'You the source and me the light',
How confined a complement it is to cite!
Despite that and forever,
It is 'me and you' that make up right.
I know this true but you feel it not,
My dreams thus strive to stand apart...
No more sighs out of equanimity!
Adoring a Mary without Jesus,
Here I call for IDENTITY!
Note- I respect all religions but through this poem i have questioned why a woman is always praised and regarded according to her relation with a man. why is she idealized only as a good mother, daughter, sister or wife to a man? Why isn't her identity as an individual valued as much?
