They shone in the night.

I watched them murder you and I didn’t do anything to stop it.
Your face and head was so beautiful,
Who knew they’d chop it.

We are all demons.

You were the one who gave me meaning,
Gave me a purpose,
Gave me love.

I’m walking through the graveyard,
Remembering the day I was once here for you.
I remember the ceremony and the flowers we chose,
I remember the music and the people we invited.

The moment they shot you down.

I saw you float to heaven,

It’s so steep I don’t think I’ll make it to the other side.
