True Love

Every time I look at you
You make me smile
And every time I hold your hand
My heart skips a beat.
Every time you look at me
With your baby blue eyes
My body gets a warm feeling
Deep down inside;
That’s how I know its true love.
When I lay in your arms
With my head upon your chest
Everything goes silent
And all I hear
Is the beating of your heart.
When I raise my head
We exchange smiles on our faces
And you kiss me;
That’s when I can tell its true love.
But my favorite part is when we are walking
Side by side- hand in hand
Our fingers intertwined
My foot steps matching yours.
And when you pick me up
in your arms
and I smile down at you,
you whisper “I love you”
now I know its true love.
