Rafa Martin Poems

1.

Naked of staff, rather laid off
like a wristwatch
I jump to the cockpit
without danger of scratch you
...

The jaws of coffee, the teeth of will
Are trying to kill me before the spring
Errant trough blue mountains my spirit splits
Running with no foes nor debts no fears
...

Fallen from the blades of a giant
Made of time and mistakes

I build ethereal castles
...

Caído de las aspas de un gigante
hecho de errores y tiempo
Construyo castillos etéreos
pasto de la furia de los niños
...

Resuenan en el caos
las letras de tu nombre
como teclas de un piano
que tal vez supe tocar
...

7.

Only my feet understand
what the tightrope is
where it carries that tense
impassive thread of steel
...

MAMVCIVM
There are no winners, just losers
Blood spreads on the hill's chest
waiting for the great storm
...

The Best Poem Of Rafa Martin

We'll

Naked of staff, rather laid off
like a wristwatch
I jump to the cockpit
without danger of scratch you
neither asking for anything impossible

I forgot to write down
the solemn departure lines

It's just one more flight
an excuse to look twice
in your Byzantine eyes
and not to be able nor know
how to say anything right nor superfluous

The propellers raise
There's enough air to take off
