Make My Dreams, My Reality

I dream and I dream every day,
Like the others I wait at the bay,
For some reality to shine on my dreams,
But at the end of every day,
Gargantuan disappointment falls my way.

Soon, realized I,
It wasn't my disappointment,
Rather my guilt,
That I stand like a sightseer,
And my fate I do not commandeer.

Leaving the bay,
Cutting through the breakers,
Fighting my fears
I move ahead,
Towards my goal.

I move ahead,
To make my Dreams,
My Reality...
