Those Beautiful Eyes

Those beautiful eyes, which overcame me
Those wonderful times, which they gave me,
Those sharp dreamy eyes, which no one ever had;
And those graceful moments that never turned bad.
Whenever did the wind blow, I gazed out,
To see the autumn flowers lowering-
To touch those wonderful grounds where we met.
At times when the flowers blossomed,
Those memories came overshadowing my bruised heart.
Those that were joy to my mind and song to my soul,
Had now become the reasons of a faded love.
Those flowers that witnessed our love,
Had now become the unworthy dust of the courtyard.
Thus she came into my life. When I remember-
those days so linked together, I feel like one-
who treads alone.
For she went away from my life,
Like leaves in wintry weather,
Leaving out a glimpse of “those beautiful eyes”
So dear to me.
