born Ahlen, Germany,1947 promising soccer player but who likes Kopfballpendel? sport's reporter for a while postman for a while studied Americanistics, Slavistics, universities of Freiburg, Zagreb, Münster between 1977 and 2010 teacher of languages and literature in Germany, Croatia and Bosnia-Hercegovina from 1994 to present nine books of poetry (" master of the poetic miniature" ;) , one book of prose (2016) literary critic translator reader cyclist " The world? Oh, yes, please.")
