As the sun sets the birds prepare,
for a fight they don't fear.
Looking over the horizon
with his girl by his side,
don't know if he will come back,
dead or alive.

The last chance he has to make it right,
before the war starts that same night.
Holding her tightly with his wings around her.
He leans in closely and says baby I love you.

As he spreads his wings to fly away,
she pulls him back saying no baby stay.
As she pulls him in closely he watches deep into her eyes,
gives her a kiss, and then he flys.
