Blind

they say men are the worst offenders

night after night bender after bender

the heart on the sleeve is to blame

A mans love is just a game


After one burn the doors begin to close.

crusting over, love cannot impose.

we feel the pain

begging to believe there is nothing to gain


trying to fill the void

after our first night, I begin to avoid

hoping you can believe in me

i just cannot surrender sleeve


it was nice meeting you

are those clothes mine to?

i wish i had plans to try again

love no longer begins
