Renn Dyos

Renn Dyos Poems

Bathed in cold, deathless light
A child sleeping dreams
Worlds open, disgorging solitude
On a mind starved of thought
...

Resigned contentedness,
Real imagined feelings,
Realization and acceptance He
Notes quicksand bouyancy
...

Quiet walks:
sacred silence unknown.
Future long-forgotten talks,
Seeds of thought are sown.
...

It's funny how the mind
groups words and phrases into two
without applying thought you find
poetic interest it renews.

Renn Dyos Biography

I began writing typical angsty teenage poetry (you know, the kind with no meter, and little rhyme?) in the midst of a depression about a year ago, but I've recently felt more optimistic, and am trying to write poetry of more quality. Some of my poems will most likely reflect what author I'm currently studying (such as Spencer's habit of inverting sentence structure, courtesy of the Faerie Queene) , so fair warning.)

These Earbuds Will Tell Me What To Think

Twin serpents with coils marred
Force lies black with feathers tarred
Into minds, devoid and scarred.
