mesmerized like a dear before headlights
time is backing up before your eyes
and all this while has led to this moment
and I can see now for miles and miles

brace yourself you're about to cross over
and i can taste the salt in this fear
there is no witness who can capture this drama
it's just as well it's how I went through life

a life time of breathing this air
that's all it takes to be rid of this trouble
