Angels Unawares

How many times have you entertained angels unawares? We wonder how God could allow such misery, hatefulness, wars, murders and rapes? Well it's a gift to us and it's called free will or choice. God allows you decide what you will do every minute of everyday but what we forget to remember is all choices have consequences, for every action there is a reaction good or bad. The gift of a smile is a easy thing to give that could bring a moment of joy just at the right time. Yes even you could be an angel unawares…

Alone

As the years pass by, I sit in the garden of my mind without
motion, unaware of the world outside of the garden walls. My
garden is full of weeds, but alias, I have no tools to clear them, no
desire to go forth from the garden to purchase them, so here I stay
motionless as the weeds in the garden increase. Their was a time
when I saw only the beauty of my garden, now I'm seeing the
weeds increase and the flowers fade but yet I sit motionless alone
inside the safety of the walls of the garden. I once ventured out
from the safety of the walls and became fearful and retreated
forthwith and became motionless once again in the seemingly safety
within the walls. I hear clatter from outside, but here I remain
within as the weeds overcome the flowers. I worked with my hands
to clear what I could but without tools the garden is to vast to clear
on my own. I allow no one to enter within my garden walls because
trust is something I have not, only fools are trusting. I have from
time to time let others in and shared what I have stored within the
walls, but even though I gave freely, they stole and fled. So I
must remain alone within my walls, for I know everyone else is but
a thief. I pull the weeds every day and the weeds grow faster than
the flowers. Should I go forth and buy tools and hire help
knowing the workers have stole in the past and tools are high in
cost? I've been pondering these questions alone in my garden and
the weeds and age are overtaking me. Yes I have ponder many
great things that could be done to make the world a better place, but
the nature of man is not to share but to horde for ones own damn
self! Alias, now I am old, sick and tried and have done none of
the great things, I have pondered alone in my garden. Shared not
my thoughts that someone else might put them into action, no I'm
alone still behind the walls of my mind in my private garden..
