Ode To Thee

O pain that my heart doth whimper and wail
O my soul that lies
under snow sleet and hail
present my King
In His hand is my name
on His thigh is the Truth
and my soul is His claim
Never has Love been so evident to me
as going forth hither my Savior to me
and when the Day comes
I shall faint in His arms
the Wind in my hair
His Wings shielding me from harm
To be carried afar by my Maker it is He
I shall worship only Him
In His Divine Majesty
Together forever
for Eternity
