Robert Macmillan Poems

Golden words,
Passing by a boyish grin
Weigh–heavy; What be their worth
Yet are light enough to understand
...

She was standing
In a crowded mall of way
Her knees; Questioning her stable stay
And what made the difference
...

Half–Hatchet! Where gone your Ancestry
Ground–Down & Dull... Stripped of pride
Be no more to roam the open wide
Left only, half–heard wisdom... Echoing a right–proud past
...

NINE O'CLOCK LOCAL–69
(Five O'Clock Call)

How soft
The Spattered splash of brush
Spread–Gently
‘Cross the pastel–blue

Golden words,
Passing by a boyish grin
Weigh–heavy; What be their worth
Yet are light enough to understand
Ring with sounding of a noble–birth
They lift the spirit...
Buff & Shine
And share their merit; True & Kind
Standing firm, the test of time
Opinions of a diamond's mind
And keep they glowing side by side
Set in clarity; Adored by many, yet unseen
As even, do they soar in gracious flight
Fly with freedom...
Sailing truth in all their; Might!
Leaving inhibitions way behind
While striving for the open–wide
Spiced with silver
Mixing jewels, that concertize
Blending priceless words;
Made he easily understood... Easily–Realized

Humble servant...
Communication's slave
Prisoner of goodness–Prince of mercy's way,
Forgiveness—Full; What words display
Fermenting Soul of joy...
Inner peace let loose
Yet! Seemed–Simple... Simply much enjoyed
Are be of home–brewed dialog
Spoke through a tongue of fair–way rule
And what be readily remembered!
The countless many he did reach
When heard his eloquence of speech
With words of wisdom was this Prodigy
Specially; Those who really listened
Those who heard him say, with dignity:
Go get–em
Said with genuine,
Sincerity!
