Gone are the days of glory
I've never ever felt so sorry...
I'm blessed with the virtue of life,
never been easy, my painful strife.
...
The greatest gift from God,
the finest creation of the Lord;
The Epitome of all goodness,
who loves & cares more, but never less....
...
The rain poured down heavily that day,
it felt as if the water may rise over the bay,
I took a stroll across the street,
with a heavy heart and drenched feet

Memories Never Die: An Ode To Soldiers
Gone are the days of glory
I've never ever felt so sorry...
I'm blessed with the virtue of life,
never been easy, my painful strife.
Guarding my nation with pride,
protecting her, keeping my eyes open wide
Sacrifice has never been so grand,
since we live and die for our motherland
Boundaries are mere lines between nations,
love should spread beyond all imaginations!
Then wars and clashes will be put to test
Peace and harmony will lead the rest!
Each day was a blessing,
with good memories regressing.
Alas! the day finally came,
when we fought hard to win the deadly game.
For each drop of blood splattered
and families that got shattered,
Consolation wasn't mandatory,
since we found solace in the nation's victory.
Memories are good friends,
leave alone the rare smile that it lends!
Gone are the days of glory,
I've never ever felt so sorry.
