Ronald Nyakweba Poems

I kissed a frog last night,
A kiss I will never easily forget,
Was a kiss I will carry along,
So nice to despise easily,
...

You hurt,
And left,
A twice hurt’
Feeble heart.
...

Supernatural.
He is so great
Greater than the Everest
He is too long
...

Deep down my heart
Dwells, a lively smile
Of a soul long gone
To the land of spirits
...

You, small city
Covered by blue sky
And brown fence
...

Last time seen,
Was great moment ever,
With lots of hopes and resolutions,
For the heart and brain.
...

Like the showers of a fountain
And an ice of a mountain
My heart is lively,
And shiny,
...

You hurt,
And left,
A twice hurt’
Feeble heart.
...

Sire once said:
Study from the head,
Down the neck,
And,
...

Far from earth and people,
Let’s fly like flies to our land.
Land we have always dreamed of.

Kissed A Frog

I kissed a frog last night,
A kiss I will never easily forget,
Was a kiss I will carry along,
So nice to despise easily,
So tasty to refute cheaply,

The frog screamed my name,
Each time I bite it,
Moved it even closer,
Throwing hands all over,

This frog was fat and sweet,
With deep red and shiny lips,
Heavy hands, scattered hair,
My mind was set for the lips,

It shouted:
I love you!
I was taken aback,
For the first time I saw a ghost.
