there is no sense to it at all, yet some beat others
with mental and verbal abuse.

Enjoying a pleasant environment here at the center,
on the parks and rec side where children are attend-
ing a summer camp.

Rising into occasions of belief and spirituality, letting them
regulate the way we think, our hearts beating in time with our
innocence and purity of the child within.

Catching glimpses now and then of the man I married,
more often than not these days he's hidden behind a
dark cloud of dementia.

Joyfully writing many expressions of love and desire as life
finds fulfillment in both, tracing our love through passages
of time and back again.

Band performing in front of a huge screen, pictures flowing to
the rhythms and tempos, something new to write to, colors burst-
ing everywhere on the screen.

Harmonies of loneliness biding time within each of our hearts
as we sit here together tonight, hearts swelling with sorrow
we've all felt through the years.

Hummingbird helicopterily flying about,
barely staying a moment to get a drink
for it's journey around nature's
abode.
