taken by illegals and refugees, raped, murdered as if their
lives don't matter.

People keep equating evil with the church, with religion,
yet it is due only to perverted individuals who look and
find a way to sooth their lustful egos.

An everlasting moment of time coming in dreams of yesterday,
on watch for a tell-tale instrument of music, playing many
rhythms into an enlightened source of the Divine.

Melodies of irony standing in line, moving expediently in
order to overwhelm whatever decides to form into this mind
and intellect.

Angels looking on, fascinated by care and kindness being
shown in measures of sacrifice and hardship, life now
tied to heavenly atmospheres.

Watching as the sun sets on an eastern horizon, waiting
for the moon to come into the sky, smiling down on each
of us as we walk down trails of yesterday's memories.

Flashing red lights taking time to escort this person into
a darkness of temporary death, behind the black curtains
where only God is waiting for some.

Waking slowly in the morning, wiping sleep from this mind's
eyes, moving into rhythms of nature, life and humanity.
