Oh! I Wish To Be The Rain

Oh! I wish to be the rain
To fill the ground water beneath
And to wash the dirt from the hills above,
To fill the farmer's pocket
By showering the orchids and the farms,
To cleanse the whole earth,
And to quench one's thirst.

Oh! I wish to be the rain
To replenish the earth with my charming freshness
And to soothe one's heart with my delectable essence,
To fall as drops of joy
For those who are touchy
And to fall as drops of crisis
For those who are embolden.
But I won't care
Though I'm the unique one in the earth
Because I fall as heavenly drops
To the whole delightful earth.

My arrival might be a melody
When I'm in a commendable mood,
Sometimes it might be unworthy
When I hit the earth with teeming anger.
Oh! I wish to be the rain,
The exquisite and the awe-inspiring rain.
