Rostaria Orion Poems

How often does the words get whispered?
'tell me the truth'
How often does the words get said?
'I cant tell you.'

2.

Its hard to explain the way I feel everytime I look into your eyes.
I open my mouth to speak the truth, but I end up coming out with lies.
Its been a long game and I am tired of playing
Its been a long time and I am tired of not saying.
...

Gentle caresses
Dreams of tasting your lips
Feeling your breath on my skin
I close my eyes and imagine you there
...

There is a darkness in my mind.
A voice that haunts me to my grave.
He is my personal devil
He is withered and cruel.

Tell Me The Truth

How often does the words get whispered?
'tell me the truth'
How often does the words get said?
'I cant tell you.'
Words are lies.
Written in the pages of time.
Nothing uttered is ever said in truth.
Everything is conditioned and edited.

Has there ever been a time when words were spoke from the heart?
Maybe when a mother first gazes on her child.
Maybe when two people stand before an alter and affirm there love.

Thats all I wanted from you.
Thats all I need from you.
Yet everything that comes out of your mouth is tainted.
You dont speak your own words
because you dont know how.

The media is always telling us lies,
The news is always telling us lies,
No one actually knows how to tell the truth anymore.

People hide behind monitors and build up worlds in there heads.
Hiding behind personas
That are further from who they are.

So before you next type
tell me the truth.
If you can.
