Flashing lights,
blindingly bright,
meant to thrill
you but still
...

God said
'Let there be light'-
And he flipped the switch,
Making the world bright.

Darkness cover me,
I'm not ready to die.

Coulrophobia

Flashing lights,
blindingly bright,
meant to thrill
you but still
the fear
of being here
consumes you.

Slowly walking,
feeling them stalking
you, painted faces
looming mere paces
behind. Happy
facade, deadly
beneath the mask.

The tears stream
down as you scream
into the night-
unbearable fright
as the clown
forces a frown
upon your face.

Clowns,
clowns,
they're everywhere!
'Cuz life's no fun
without a good scare.
But now you see
this is no fun.

The horrors surround,
the terrors abound,
the colorful lights,
blindingly bright,
won't guide you through,
they're deceiving you.
It's Coulrophobia...
