Spliced with bones showing
Through pink pork ribbons
Rashers so neat as no fingers had trembled.

Give me steak and black pudding
Such generous portions
The knuckle's a tough one and yet it was cudgelled.

Cross cuts and ribs still showing
Resplendent ham in hearty chunks
But which to choose for eaters assembled?
