No More You
Dear, dearest Sir
You were the one that gave me an A
And adore my simple musical play
You convinced me that I can be somebody
And be beautiful like canary
Flashback when I was in grade nine
In your class, I read my speech line
Your smile flash, and you said 'That's quite fine
But scratch that word blind'
You cheer me up when none of the spectators clapped their hands
You were the only one that stood up, when I performed with the band
You never got mad
I never saw you dressed in sad
You never think bad
You just gotta kept glad
It's been a year since the last time I met you
I never thought this morning I wear my dress black-blue
So many things I'd say
Before you passed away
Gratitude and appreciate
Attitude and guitar fret
So now, I write down this poem
Hoping the flowers still bloom
For you, whereever you are
For you, that have been gone so far
You will always enter my heart's door
Though I know there will be no more you anymore
