Yet Comes Tomorrow

Tomorrow never comes,
As was said for today,
When I stood here yesterday.

Yesterday, a thought of pessimism occupied me,
Hope remained only a hope,
And my wishes were doomed,
Happiness stood there as a myth,
And sorrow was the one, with whom I was groomed.
Smile slowly faded away,
Down the cheeks, tears found its way,
Mind got filled with images from the past,
A dream, I dreamt had no place to stay.
My eyes cried, so did my heart,
Broken dreams and scatterd all apart,
Never found the path, meant for me,
Walked all the way in the dark, when I could barely see,
Suffered a lot, got drowned in ocean of pain,
Nothing but hatred was there, that I could gain,
If something more, sympathy was all I could get,
Got yesterday, which I could barely explain.

I changed my thought, I'm optimist now,
I've started to learn, after today comes tomorrow.
I've a present, I've a life,
Hopes once lost have now come back,
Wishes wished long back and happiness deserved,
Has now got right into the track.
Tears yet flow, but of happiness,
Lips have again found the smile,
I've gained what I ever wanted,
And learned to my life worthwhile,
Now my feets follow my dream,
Hatred is dead that was once deep inside,
Anxiety and possibility has now teamed me up,
A chance, an optimism is what my heart resides.

Time changes and changes life too,
Tears fall down but reason changes,
Spring comes after the winter,
Tomorrow always comes as the season changes.

Now, I say,
Yes, tomorrow yet comes, as came today,
But, I'll not ruin it like I did my yesterday…
